That looks great!  How do you like the Aion fork?

I would recommend a dropper, but other than that, grip it and rip it!

Just built my Wreckoning up.  Float X2 is the final piece and is going in this week.

I'm looking at replacing my giant reign with an evolink 150.  I'm at 188 cm, looking at being right on the edge of the L and XL sizes, I know they recommend on their site to size down if in between, but do you have any insight into the frame sizing having actually ridden it on Canadian soil?  Also, what have they been like to deal with, how long from order to receiving?  Initial impressions/comparisons to other bikes you've had?  thank you in advance.

Those Evolinks look so badass, saw one in person in Whistler the other week. Would be cool to try one.

And that Evil is also a pretty bike.

Nice.

How are the Project 321 hubs?

The hubs are really nice. I did a spin test and they just roll forever in my bike if the brake rotor isn't rubbing, that's with the silent pawls. As for the sound I would compare the quiet option to a faint hissing like your tire has a pinhole leak only heard on the road. Out on the trail you can't hear them whatsoever which is nice. I've never had carbon hoops before so the damped sound from the carbon and quiet hubs is a huge novelty for me lol. As a machinist I can appreciate quality in machining and these make me happy, even machining the logo into the hub body after anodizing is an unnecessary step that just goes to show the level of detail.

I'm 6'4" and got the L in the 140 as it was the biggest but now I see they are offering an XL later this year, I would guess the reach will be in the 530mm range? Honestly I thought it would be a handful but I felt immediately comfy on it. There is only a handful of turns that have required me to go super wide to make, other than that its a rocket. The steeeep seat angle also makes this thing climb like a much smaller bike which is awesome. Now for price....ouch. With exchange I paid $3000 which was tough to swallow but the unique geo made it justifiable, then I got slammed with $500 duty. I am disputing it but who knows. I am still very happy and would purchase again. The customer service is amazing and the quality is top notch. They sent a zillion little doodads for internal or external routing all individually packed in labelled bags etc. Also the swappable 142 to 148 dropouts are rad. Shipping time was just shy of 2 weeks so not terrible.

Maybe this time it'll work better...

Late addition to the dance party.  I had some spare parts kicking around and the GF said they needed to find a home so...

MOJO Geometron G16

Fox 36 RC2

We Are One Composites Agent 29 laced via Sapim CX-Ray to Onyx CL rear hub.

9point8 Fall Line 170mm dropper with Digit remote

Fork and front wheel are placeholders for the moment.  Have another WAO Agent rim to lace up once I figure out fork/front hub configurations.

^rad. how's the geometry working for you so far? would love to give a super-stretch bike a go to see what the fuss is all about.

I've been getting along with the reach just fine.  Haven't really noticed the wheelbase length either.  The MOJO numbers just work.  A huge relief for myself as I bought the frame after many emails with the MOJO folks.  The sheer length of these things on paper is scary "Is it actually ridable?" "Will I be able to comfortably hold the bars?"  All yes answers so far!

There is some adapting period to this bike, and I'll be learning for quite some time I reckon.  I'm keen to get the fork sorted with a reduced offset fork in the near future as well.  Currently using a 51mm offset 29er fork combined with a 35mm stem and 785mm FatBars has resulted in some interesting steering moments (slower speed inclines) in the first few rides.

A few numbers:

~61-62˚ HTA (measured via iPhone Compass. I question the HTA and STA angles I have measured)

~75˚ STA

445mm CS

345mm BB

175mm rear travel

29" F/R

IMO the fuss is all the absolute shit the industry repackages year after year as incremental updates.

that bike is essentially the vanguard, the new frontier, the bleeding edge........  any good?

So far so good.  Enjoying the rides on it.  Just wish I was in better shape at the moment.

The '18 models are out. 62.5˚HTA 0.0
