This thread is dedicated to the full suspension mountain bike. The bike you ride up and down the hills regardless of wheel size.

Use this thread to post up your bike regardless of wheel size, the number of chainrings or if you use a dropper post; discuss these machines to your heart’s content.

Feel free to share some details on your set-up, weight or whatever makes it special to you.

26"…..is it dead?
27.5"…..the new standard?
27.5+…..the new koolaid?
29"…..still only for XC?

Post em and discuss em.

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

You need to ensure that the front wheel is off the ground when weighing your bike like that Dean ;)

Small frame, 26" wheels, maybe it's that weight… :D

I've learned a lot over the years on keeping bike weight to a minimum. The wheels I have on there are super light (1599g) and have taken a beating over 2015 but are still rolling true.

The Manitou Mattoc is also quite light @ 1877g

Does that guide have a skid plate on it as well? I don't see it on their website.

Thanks,
Craig
