Good call. Do you think a Chromag Nice Dreams would be a solid option?

Overseas Nice Dreams, or just one without the name on the top tube?

Just built up the new Chromag Surface in 27.5+… this was a fun project and I've wanted a Chromag HT for a long time, so here it is… this will be my fall/winter/early spring ride and likely my all year bike now. Built with a nice mix of Chromag, Hope, MRP, Raceface, Shimano XTR, Magura and Maxxis components… first ride this afternoon in the pouring rain was an epiphany… so much grip!! Stoked.

Still feeling like a total fucking idiotic fucktard here!

In other news, I don't see any videos anywhere of shredding on the Nice Dreams. Come on Chromag, make my mouth water!

Question for the hardtail aficionados: Looking for a burly STEEL hardtail w/26" wheels. Chromag has some leftover/demo 26" wheeled Stylus frames which look like what I am after. Any other STEEL hardtail long travel frame I should consider?

PS: Just to make it difficult, 31.6 seat post [HTML_REMOVED] threaded BB too!

Nice bike.

I haven't really looked into it that much, but how is the Surface different from the Primer (besides the Dekerf vs. Truelove welding?)

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Head angle seems to be the biggest difference… 65 on the Primer versus around 66-66.5 on the Surface… mine measured out at 66 which is good for me. Running at 150mm travel..

The builder matters too; Truelove vs. DeKerf.

In what sense?

more then just that. the top tube on the primer is way longer and the bb is much lower. i don't know the exact number but you can looks them up as easy as i can. the new surface is a modern version of the original, still fairly conservative angles. plus threaded bb and i believe a 44mm head tube.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.
