Ah, summer and orange frames. What is it that makes them go so well together? Like bacon and cheese.

Wrong. Always.

In the Cancer thread some mentioned building up a .243 frame. Just spotted this one cheap on Pinkbike.

Still riding this thing. Probably a new chainring, grips and Reverb rebuilt in the near future. It’s a super fun bike that gets the job done.

hey speaking of hardtails: my son's got an 11 year old friend who just picked up a dmr trailstar. if anyone remembers these frames, you'll recall they're not light - and this one's shod with sun double track rims, so even after i swapped in a bunch of stuff from the parts bin its still a pretty heavy bike. kid was so psyched to ride he hauled that thing up fromme 3x on sunday: endo's, wipeouts, pinch flats, nothing could wipe the smile off his face. soooo… if anyone's got a set of 26" disc wheels (20mm front, qr rear) gathering dust in the shed and in need of a good home, i can trade you a batch of homemade cookies for them and guarantee they'll be very much appreciated and thoroughly abused

Thanks. Maiden voyage was the first PORCA toonie on Saturday. This is now my do-it-all one and only bike after selling my Trance SX to build my dream hardtail, pretty stoked on it!

The Chromag boys sure make some nice products. Love the attention to detail, sweet colour and clean welds.

loving my third season on my Samurai! 2x10, 730mm bars, dual position fork, and water bottles not in stupid places! ;) Loving how the double clear coat 'cracks' and allows these cool spider webby patina patterns to develop under the clear coat

i have a dt swiss e530 rim/370 hub 20mm currently with tubeless tape if you want, located near sfu. i bought it used, cheap as a last minute fix a couple years ago, and no longer need it. not sure if it is that much lighter or worth it.

pm me if you want it. i can stash outside for you. i also have another wheel (flow, sorta-true, seized 10mm bolt-on axle, no freehub, possibly other issues). if you can fix for the kid, it's all yours as well. no desire to fix right now.

I have a 2014 Stylus that I love and use for everything from dirt jumping to commuting. However, I have found the relatively short TT and esp the 70 degree seat tube angle to make pedal oriented rides a bit tough. I am 5'11" and ride a size Large.

The new 2016 version has an ~ 1" longer ETT and a 73 degree seat tube angle so I think that would make for a better all around ride? any comments or thoughts? thx!

the best part about the hardtail thread is how many bikes keep showing up year after year. standards change, trends come and go, carbon cracks, steel hardtails last forever

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.
