Nice workshop!
NSMB - 2016 - Hardtail Thread
^wut^ (to the truss unit)
the builder mentions that the geometry is something he's wanted to try out for ages - he doesn't get specific, but i'm guessing it has to do with that whacky front end: the linkage steering means you can go crazy with the wheelbase without having a super long reach or super-slack hta. so you can play with hta and offset to optimize handling without compromising stability. pretty neat

Geez, didn't even notice that it has linkage steering. Wackier than I thought even.
Are there detail shots somewhere? Looks wild.

I like everything about this! Tnx.
You mean Yoof. Clean looking bike though.

if anyone's been thinking of building themselves a hardtail, you could do worse:

Good luck, every time I bought one of those with the same intent you have it ended up sitting in my garage. Pump tracks are fun though.
I keep toying with getting a pump track/jump bike but I always have that niggling feeling I just won't do it like I think I will.

mine doesn't see much pumptrack action anymore, but it's still one of my most ridden bikes…work commuter, occasional xc, cruising to the lake, groceries….
I had ridden my process on jumps a couple times last season and got the itch again. It sure was nice to ride a dj bike again and not have to work so hard to get through a set!
It looks like we've got some pretty great bike parks through the lower mainland these days. Penzer looks awesome with the addition of the bigger line.
Tempting…. Expensive but tempting. The forever bike.

Wanna get a 29er that I can ride on the shore on the not so gnarly trails. Also be able to put a lower profile tire on for fun big 100km singletrack days.
Hoping to score something after BCBR is over and the bikes come online for sale.
Any suggestions are welcome.
