Only a couple of rides on the Marzocchi but it feels great. Way more active than the Pike it replaced and seems to sit very high in its travel. Nothing really beats the feel of a coil

That marzocchi has me curious. I've been looking at those vs the pike.

My Norco Range C2 is the first non-DH mountain bike I've had in about a decade. This bike lets me pedal to the goods, and then lets me party like I'm on a DH sled (ok, almost).

The bike is totally stock except for the SixC crankset. I'm really happy with all the components, in fact - I can't believe I haven't broken anything yet. I've been riding this thing hard for a few months now, and aside from truing the rims here and there, and repairing a small sidewall slash in the rear tire - I haven't had to touch anything. Not a huge fan of the tires, but I understand why people like them. They seem to be a good all-rounder for most conditions. I'll likely go with Magic Marys when I replace them.

I'm trying hard to keep up with the latest fashions. I've got as far as 2003 today. I picked up an almost 'new' Balfa Belair. Other than a few scratches on the frame from storage, it's not far off unridden. I threw some more modern stuff from my stash and hit 7th Secret, Krinkum etc. Other than the shitty Psylo fork (super clunky - maybe it's dumped it's oil over the years, or maybe it's just shit) it's a super fun bike.

^I had one of those but one size too small for me a number of years ago. I was close to justifying myself to buy that bike, but glad you bought it first. I've got no space for a collectible like that unfortunately, but I do lust after the nostalgia

Thanks all. I had a 'normal' full suspension bike but it just didn't inspire me even though it was fairly capable. This was on CL for a good length of time, and the geometry actually seemed pretty good with chainstays just over 16", fairly long top tube, reasonable BB height etc. I had plans to get a Works Components headset and some offset bushings to slacken the head angle from the 69 degrees that it's sat at at the moment but I really liked the handling on it's only ride so far. Nice and snappy through the corners and there's something about the bike that makes me want to pedal hard out of corners too.

On a related note, if anyone has a fork that's 130-140mm travel / around 500mm axle to crown, 20mm dropouts and 1 1/8th steerer gathering dust, feel free to PM me. Thinking OG Pike but could be something more 'interesting' too (Shiver SC, Boxxer U-Turn! etc…).

What is the e2e and stroke on the 27.5 Glory?

I posted my bike on vital the other day, figure I might as well post it here as well.

Giving the rock razor a try, so far so good. Just changed out a DHR II so quite a difference from that.

I've got a bit of an itch to try to get the suspension more dialed - might go do one of the vorsprung setup clinics or maybe even try a CCDBA in the back. Time will tell. If Push is reading this I'd love to try an ElevenSix but can't afford one hahaha.
