Yeah thats what I was thinking too.

the lower level enduro have pretty flexy wheels , my buddy has a 2014 and on our ride today he mentioned he can really feel them flex in the corners . he is also on a xl and weighs 250lbs+

When I owned my first bike with a low bb (2004 SC Heckler) I had pedal strikes in bad situations and had my two biggest crashes because of silly pedalling. But I was spoiled and any bike with a high bb feels wrong now.

The fear of crashing again really improved my pedalling technique though =)

I don´t really get why Roval went to lower spoke counts (24f/28r?). My 2014 Traverse 26" wheels are 32hole in the back. That´s a pretty light and yet stiff wheelset. It´s dinged up now, but for the abuse it took - absolutely no complaints.

I think the Roval wheels are pretty good, they´ll probably hold up. Just keep an eye out for the rear non-driveside spokes near the nipples. That´s where the (radial) Rovals sometimes break down. But I think the Fatties are laced in the traditional 3cross pattern in the rear?

I tested one out recently and decided to buy one! Those 29 inch wheels sure make life a lot easier both going uphill and downhill. Plus they got the geo dialed so that you don't feel like you are riding a sluggish 29er in terms of maneuverability. It really feels like I got an XC, AM, and DH bike all in one, which is exactly what I was looking for. I'm not saying it will suit everyone's tastes, but I definitely recommend taking one out for a test ride. Loving mine so far.

I got to spend a few days on an intense T275 and a Enduro 29er. Both bikes were pretty great but the Enduro comes into it's own at higher speeds. The first time I rode it it was sprung for a much heavier rider and I found it to be a bit awkward. I had never ridden a 29er before and I was bouncing all over the place. Part way through that ride I found a straight shot with lots of roots and rocks with flat turn at the bottom I made a quick decision to pin it and somewhere around 20KPH the bike transformed. It felt like all the bumps just flattened out into nothing, and I railed the turn at the bottom so hard it felt like i was on a berm (there was no berm).

I've never felt a bike roll so well, grip so well in the corners, brake so well, climb so well… Seriously this bike is the closest thing to a game changer I've tried since the first time I rode a full suspension bike. It makes the trails look different, and faster, funner lines just present themselves out of nowhere. I pretty much decided to buy one right away. A big thanks to Rob at Dunbar for lending me his bike even if it is going to cost me a fortune :)

I think a set of dh layup light bicycles on hopes should make it pretty much perfect.

this is the model my buddy has and he loves it , huge set-up from a Camber and it definitely rips the faster one goes

One of the most enjoyable bikes I've ever ridden, hands down. I really also miss my Blindside that I sold a few years back.
