Recived this in the mail today. Quite excited to get this built up. 2014 NS Bikes Surge Evo. Will be built with a mix of old and new parts.

How are you liking that WTB Trail Boss… if that's what it is?

i might have/there might be a review coming out at some point, but…

great tire. rolls pretty fast, climbing and cornering grip are excellent. lots of little, laterally siped knobs in the center act like little fingers, clawing up rocks and roots and stuff, and brake OK. staggered, vertically siped outside knobs grip better than they should, and when they break loose they do so predictably, if noisily, and find traction quickly. the only things i didn't like about the tire were the weight, and that it gave up the tubeless ghost after a few rides and seemed to wear quite quickly initially - but i stuck a tube in and have another 20 rides on it without noticing much further decrease in performance, so not too bad there

Its a large.
It Will have a 160mm Talus fork and 26" wheels.

Well that sounds like fun. I'll give one a go when a suitable bike to put it on gets figured out.
