Mine's still like this at the minute. I may ditch the Sektor for an Argyle, depends how it feels when I fit a firm spring really as I don't like it with the regular.

Cheers :)
Mine's not changed a whole lot from this time last year… still has small wheels, no narrow-wide, no clutch, no Pikes, skinny handlebars, and is missing 10th and 11th gear. Ho hum. At least it's a Chromag, and I still like riding it.

Nice. Especially like the only acceptable colour for a chain guide……..black.;)
Friendly tip I got from the guy's last year at GD. Run the post reversed to what you have. The tech I talked with say it increases strength and so on. Simply…less chance of breakage.

I'll bet I cut the cable too short for that… curses.
Retro-grouch alert!
1992 Rocky Mountain Vertex (general consensus is that it's a Dekerf build).
Well now I got two of those hanging in the garage. I just might have to get a disc mount brazed on one and build it up!
Interesting speculation about DeKerf. I know he built all the Blizzards the first build season after he left Rocky but wasn't aware of his involvment with the Vertex. I'll have to ask my mole on the inside….
Weighs in at just over 26lb.
One of mine once had a Mag 20 on it. What's the travel on your fork and the resultant bb height?
Guess I'd run an adjustable 140mm fork.
Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.
It'd be interesting to know who built them. The welds are flawless to the point that you can't really see them. Great to hear that there's some more about as they were only made for a year. I've seen another with disc tabs.
It's had a few forks on it, but this one is a 2000 Judy Race. I've dropped the travel down to the lowest by swapping the spacers around (now 63mm I think). The ride height feels better than when it was at 80mm so the BB is fairly low down. I'd have to check next time I drag the bike down from the ceiling!
The bike feels great on the likes of the new Expresso. Somewhat less great on the chunder!

wow you are a ass
It's weird to see a bike like that without 1.75 marathons, crappy clip on fenders, a sopping wet set of panniers, festooned with a thousand MEC blinkers, and covered in a half inch of sand and road grime. Oh and don't forget a totally bagged out drivetrain and thrashed hubs.

Yes, I took the gel seat cover off for the photos

Season 3, no real changes, but thinking of getting a wider bar than the Haven I currently have.

Such a nice bike Biggles!
Most fun I've had on a bike in a while. Built 'er in August, only change is a white 2014 XFusion Slant 150 instead of the noodly Revelation RL.
