I was a little unimpressed with the stock for on mine as well. Ended up replacing the fork internals with the DH comp/rebound for +-$125 much more civilized now!

i read several reviews on the bike and they all said pretty much the same great package but the fork is hurting it , one stated they should have forgone the dropper for a fixed post and used the cost difference between the seat posts and put the $$ towards a better fork .

i dropped my 66CR off at Marzocchi yesterday , they are going to reduce the travel too 160mm and i will use that till later in the season .

and i may look into the upgraded internals who did you source them thru ?

j_claw, how do you like the Atlas pedals? Any issues? Thinking of getting a set.

I really like them… Nice big platform, but low profile [HTML_REMOVED] a good weight too. Recommended.

You given up on the 650b Enduro dream then?

This is a temporary solution Jamie…

Yes. Mud clearance is now pretty tight, but the 26" dropouts give you 10mm shorter chainstays with no change to BB height.

Running 26 dropouts with 650Bs on my Spitfire, too. Like it a lot!

I just noticed the water bottle mounts on the Rune and Spitfire (underside of the downtube)….interesting.

Wow, didn't notice that. Good eye.

My Fluid has those too. Never really understood why you'd want your water bottle cage under your down tube. Kind of hard to reach without having to get off the bike, unless you've got Go-Go-Gadget arms or something.

I use Naglene bike bottles to prevent exactly that, especially when riding in areas where horses also use the trails.

I have to get some of these. No real reason to run any thing but.

I've never seen them up here, I've always bought them at REI in the US (but then I've never looked for them up here either).

If you drink Gatorade or similar, it is sticky. Having a cover stops dust from sticking to the spout. That is the reason I started using them.

my 2013 Process

http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/10967937/

pretty basic , 26" wheels , tubes in the tires , 2x10 , riser stem and bars , no fancy suspension lock outs or travel adjustments and not a single carbon part on the bike , old school and fun as hell too shred on .

Update: 30.2lbs

Under 30 must be possible without that Magic Mary, although at a claimed 835g, its going to be hard to find anything significantly lighter that gets anywhere near the performance.
