Someone at a shop that sells Devinci is claiming the alloy Troy STA is 2? steeper than the carbon version???
Geo shouldn't be different between the two.
Devinci web shows geo is same on both, unless there's change

Yeah who knows.
Looks like the website was updated, as I seem to think the low STA used to be listed as 70.4? but that might have been actual measurements instead of effective.
The 70.4 had myself looking elsewhere for a frame
Why slag free swag?
ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
Well, I guess I'll post in this thread, even though I've had my frame since 2010. The bike is now almost an antique; 1.125" straight head tube, aluminum frame, front deraileur…but even so I love it.
Knolly Endorphin (first generation)
Fox Float RLC fork
DT Swiss wheelset with EX500 rims
Reverb post
Sixc crankset and bars
Saint brakes (8" front, 7" rear)
Pictured here with my riding partner Rosie, our Mt. Currie reserve adoption dog.
Some day I'll have a carbon frame 650B bike, but this I love this bike too much to get rid of.

If yours is an antique, my 2003 Norco Fluid 3 is down right prehistoric lol.

Nice Pup. Bike's good to:)
I think well ridden and used (but kept in shape) bikes are great.
Troy sizing is weird. it's really small
Yeah I'm 6'1" and after sitting on Large, I know I want an XL. I even feel that my large Wilson is a little tight.

I wanted one of those Fluids in '03 but never had a chance to get one. Nice to see yours has stood the test of time.

It kind of helps that I stopped riding after having my second kid early '06; just couldn't find the time to ride. Only started up again late last summer.
No riding to be had in Squamish at the moment, so I've been tinkering…

Thanks! Frame is a large.
I didn't get on with the Specialized remote lever position [HTML_REMOVED] I hated the big loop of cable that it gave me. I think the Fox DOSS lever is great when positioned under the bar, they're just awkward looking when used with a shifter. The small black lever (for the mid position on the Fox post) is redundant with the Command Post, but no mods were required to get it to work. I have seen people modify a shifter to achieve the same thing, but the DOSS lever is simple, works well [HTML_REMOVED] looks good.
As much as I dislike some of the Special Ed business practices (sue anything that moves) that is a sexy bike.
I want the XP build on a carbon frame :)
A guy I ride with got one from Mountain City Cycles in Courtenay that has the XP build on the carbon frame. He didn't seem to think it was a custom build, so maybe you can have your dealer order one from Devinci that way.
