^That's pretty much my dream build at the moment, but with a coil shock (and in white). Keep me posted on the positives and negatives. I'm going to be seriously considering putting the money down come May.

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

The whip for this year. 2013 Blur TRc with a 2014 Pike on the front. Bike rides great. BB is not too high given the 150mm fork.

Love that bike with the Pike! Sets it off for sure.

another budget version to consider is the Yeti ASR5. They basically copied the geo from the TRc. They're discontinued now but if you can find one, a frame would be well under a grand. Carbon rear, Alu front, or full carbon for a bit more.

pretty sure you have that backwards bryce. the asr5 came out at least a year before the trc
