I run a flat bar on my Nomad. Works really well for me. Now the fellas with the 35 mm stem and a riser bar sitting bolt upright..now that's a tard look if ever I saw one. Run that saddle low too so you can reach the ground. Did your mom set up your bike for you?

Don't like the run-bike look?

Only when the saddle nose is pointed at the sky.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

This is my new frame for the next year or two. Warrantied Mojo goes to the GF, I I get one last 26er hurrah. I actually sold 650b components to fund this frame! I really liked the Mojo but this thing is a missile, it has a lot of pop, it's longer, lower, and slacker. A very sporty ride, so it's not for everyone, especially at a casual pace. I was very much a DW fanboy for a long time. Not so much anymore…

That thing looks really mean!

Enoy it.

Also, the whole 650B and wheelsize in general thing is meh.
I also just bought a 26er and it feels great and quick and nimble. Sold a 29er :shhh:

Spareparts are readily available for 26inch, especially for 150mm+ bikes.
And in a couple of years I´ll buy whatever wheelsize the bike I LUST for will have.

HOT YETI!

What size is that?

Large, nice long 25" TT. I have shorter legs long torso, so a 19.5 with a longer tt is great. Some changes since the photo, Lopes Mrp, and more pedal friendly Butcher/Purg Grid.

Damn that looks good.

This mean you tossed out the plan for a Samuri?

Likely shelved for this year. I did save a fork for that project though:)

Still on this old beast, but imagine it with Kashima stanchions, a marsh guard and Saint pedals… I just wish my wheels weren't of the 'dead standard' variety. ;P While I've wanted a dropper post forever, I'm finding more and more that I can live without it.

Ha,
That's like trying Crack for a month and then trying to decide if you still need/want it or not.

I don't know I could even get on my bike without a dropper anymore. I always squish it down for mounting / dismounting. Just so convenient.

I would honestly rather give up rear suspension before a dropper.

Totally. I recently rode with a buddy who doesn't have one. At one point in the ride we were stopped and he asked 'is this section an up or a down?'. I hadn't considered that in so long. All I could think was "no idea, 200 pushes of the little button?".
