NSMB - 2013 - Hardtail Build thread
Personally I love the black stanchions on the black fork. Very Darth Vader! Your Surface is awesome.

Non drive side photo fail. Has Morgan not taught you anything? :)
I'd agree that you'll likely bring those bars down some.
Looks great.

Y'all know what XO looks like, but I will have Denver try and set up some proper lighting and a photo. :p I just wanted to show off the new whip.
I have taken one spacer out after last night and will try a bit less air in the fork for a bit of sag.
I have had 2 rad rides on her so far, NSMBA Twoonie last night and SFU this morning. The new Pike is nice and way stiffer than the Revelation. I may end up slamming the stem. and I will post up weights as well but the 2.5 DHF's are not helping that end
Nice. I like the all blck fork myself. The new RS are said to be killer. How tall are you? The bar/saddle relationship looks odd. Really high bar or is the saddle not at riding height?
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

tall baaahs
looks kinda like this riding position. :dizzy:
The stem is 0 deg and just 25mm OSX bars. The photo angle is creating some illusion, but i did raise the seat 1" and reduce spacers during the last ride.
I have 28" inseam and 5"10" so I have a long torso that makes for less seat post than most.

Oh get the fuck outa here. 28"? @ 5'10". Shit my inseam is 31 and I'm 5'5" and I lie about that. One of us is built funny. Or maybe both.

He probably wanted to show off the linkage!

did you have a revelation on the bike previous to running the pike? i'm pretty happy with mine, esp. for the price i paid, but the black on black looks siiiiiick

I paid a quite reasonable price for the Pike. The revelation that I tested had noticeable flex under my 205 lb ass. I had 2 hard bottom outs yesterday in Squamish, so the set up continues. I am in love with the codes for braking, not at nice as saint in feel, but it gets the job done well
Love this setup!

Sporting new wheels and front tire. Ardents are working well for me. Not sure why the internet hates them so much.
