just refreshed my 7y old chameleon with a new fork, wheels and cockpit to make it more of an all-rounder. first ride was today for 3 hours of xc and trails. i am impressed with the x-fusion.

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

I don't think my tires are fat enough to count but
Of course like many, I have daydreams of a Surface. It would sport a full compliment of bikepacking bags when the time is right.
Oh yeah, weighed my Chammy today and it comes in at about 26lbs, not bad considering I didn't even plan for a light build. I will eventually be going tubeless and getting some nano pedals which should shave off a bit more, plus I don't think the hussefelt stem is the lightest.

Love this setup!
My one ride, built from scratch, to try as much as possible on. Just finished a hike up Mt. Begbie in Revelstoke, summit, and ride down. 27 lbs.

strong work on Begbie. awesome. I've skied it but haven't seen the trail. how was the riding? that's a long day
Took a couple of updated shots of my On One on my very warm after work ride this evening.
Finally completed my Surface. One of the few that has made it to the UK. One day I hope to take it for a ride around its original home
That surface is LOVELY!
I have had 2 rad rides on her so far, NSMBA Twoonie last night and SFU this morning.
The new Pike is nice and way stiffer than the Revelation. I may end up slamming the stem. and I will post up weights as well but the 2.5 DHF's are not helping that end
140 Solo Air in the 29 was the only option at the time. Black Stanchions may not look as nice as Kashima gold, but I can't see them when I am on the trail, and the fork is plenty stiff for the price.

Personally I love the black stanchions on the black fork. Very Darth Vader! Your Surface is awesome.

Thanks, It took a while to build.
I had my first ride on it last night in the Twoonie race. So much fun, it manuals and pumps almost as good as Morgman's Monk!!!
