Nice Build,

What seat do you have on there…..Is that a railed Race Face Atlas Seat ? If so….I must have

Yup, it is indeed the Atlas Railed saddle. I like the shape of the Atlas I-Beam, but the railed version is pretty comfortable for me (since it actually has some flex to it). RF Has them in stock and ready to ship to dealers.

^^^^^^Nice bike!! I'm in the process of building those wheels with those tires. Are those the 2.35's? Are they a fat, tall tire? Gonna try and squeeze them on my 26" hard tail frame and even though I've read my TransAm can be converted, I've also read that those tires are quite big. Any feedback would be appreciated.

rather meaty.
outside circumference = 87 7/8" (meas two tires)
width = 2 3/8" (meas multiple points)

what size are those bikes and how tall are you guys?

I like the fit of my large V1 spitfire, but I'm already running a 50mm stem and the rails fairly central on the post and it feels good. Unfortunately the new large is growing a little bit in reach. I'm smack in the middle of Banshee's medium and large sizing, it's a little annoying. :nerd:

I'm 6'1" and I'm on the large. With a 50mm stem it feels perfect (although I only have 5 hours ride time on it so far).

^^ I'm 6'0" and i usually ride a large but went medium on the new spitfire based on tt length and wheelbase. They're kinda long. And yeah, looks like they're gonna be popular around these parts. Available 1 week and there's already 3 in here.

same old beast… I think I'll be stuck with her for a number of years to come. She gets the job done every time, tho. 32.2 lbs last time I checked.

Not pictured here are Crank Bro's carbon bar (760mm), kashima stanchions, fresh chainstay and blackspire guide roller. Everything else is as it was. Including original chain which according to the chain checker is showing virtually no stretching.

Check out this review for your Ibis.

Huh, it looks like that just squeaks in there! A Racing Ralf on the back would be excellent though (a bit more clearance) with the Nobby Nic for a front, especially in summer. I would have to go back to my Fox 36…. but drop the fork down to 140mm, put an angleset on there and that should maintain a nice low BB it already has in the 140mm setting with my 26" wheels. Hmmm, food for thought.

Interesting to note, the Hans Dampf on a 26" Carbon Haven is near identical to that Neo Moto 2.3 in that review you linked (I'm going to measure it tomorrow to be sure). So I dunno, the 650b advantage might only be there if you use a proper meaty tire…if you typically run a big 26" tire
