verified frame weight for a small was 10.5 lbs with CCDB coil… don't know why its so burly…

6 lb frame + 1.5 lb damper + 1 lb spring + 2 lb lifetime warranty = 10.5 lbs sounds about right

That is pretty heavy considering my xl 2012 v10c came in at 10.36lbs with a rc4.

Not sure how a carbon frame DH bike weighs in at almost 39lbs but it is still very nice! Im just surprised that it would weigh that much. It is a fairly no compromise build though. You fill those tubes up with lead? Im sure ditching the Straitline pedals would save you close to 2lbs though:wink:  Im surprised more people around here aren't running the Der Guide

My 2012 V10c with Fox RC4 and Boxxer WC and mainly Saint bits weighs in at 38.5 lbs. I can drop it down to 37.5 pretty easily but to get to 36 I'd have to go with an air shock and compromise durability elsewhere. It is an XL though.

Even more so that my 2013 large aluminum Podium was 10.5lbs with ccdb steel coil.

Isn`t that 3 lbs heavier than the 2013 V10C?!

But hey if the carbon frame holds up: bitchin. :rocker:

It must have to weigh so much since Stevie is from Van Isle and crushes Lucky's!

Im surprised with the weight of it though. Although it makes sense to have it a little portly for the first year and subtract weigh over the course of development

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Definitely is heavier than the '13! Not sure how much a XL '13 weighs though.

Can't complain too much, $1800 for a brand spanking new carbon frame in a XL!!!! :)

I'll have a 2009 Knolly DT and a 2012 V10C side by side before the season starts. I foresee a much lighter weight out of the V10 than my indestructible DT.

That's by far the best thing I've read in a while haha.

Devinci is looking fast. Like the Knolly too, nice build.

Hmmm… Canfield Bros me thinks… F1 Jedi or The One? If so, I am jealous.

New paint, fork, Zee drivetrain and bars for 2013. Just waiting on some decals. Currently ~39.5lbs with no parts I'm worried about breaking at 200+lbs kitted. Stoked to get back out!

Yeah, I will second, third and fourth that!!! The Jedi would be on my very short list of DH frames if I was in the market… can't wait to see this build as it progresses. What shock are you going with?
