It can take 4 on the rack and 1 inside with 2 dogs and 5 people. Gas is not so bad but not great. 11 - 12 L / 100Km's on the high way when loaded up.
NSMB - 2012 Shuttle Rig's
Look at these pansy yuppie mobiles.
12 bikes, 13 people. DIESEL DEATH! :rocker::mullet::usa:
This was my old rig:
The ex convinced me to get rid of it because it was impractical, and this oldie fell into my lap for almost nothing:
Nice Yota!
My buddy was in the same situation you were in with the exact same truck… Except… He chose the truck…

i've tried sticking it in her butt and peeing, she feels that is more a gift for me than her.
Here's mine. Old pic, moar rust now. 400,000+ km. Won't get another vehicle until this one is on the side of the highway in flames.

Should have kept that truck. Both those dirty bitches are gone now…
My old ride:
My new shuttle rig….as in shuttle baby stuff around the city.
2.5" lift
Stoked on the new car. 5.5 to 6 L/100 (TDI) and will carry 4 bikes and 4 people very comfortably once I get a hitch installed. It's quick too. A little bit of lowering will happen eventually.
^^The new TDI Golfs have balls eh?
Love this setup, but its a shame the 1 1/4" hitch limits us to a NSR 2
Built a bed rack out of scraps at work. With some refinements it will fit 4 bikes
Golf ~7L/100km
Dodge ~25L/100km
Picked up a new shuttle rig yesterday…. hilarious thing is that it gets better fuel economy than my 3.0L V6 in the 4runner did and it's got a 5.7L in it…
6x6, sticks (golf clubs to the non golfers), camping gear, bazooka sub, etc.
Loved the drive out west the last couple summers but will probably fly this summer.
