Da fuct is a dropper post doing on a DH bike?

It'll be closer to 40 than you think

I'll check the weight when I get home today. I forgot about it yesterday.
But the dropper post is the best of all worlds. It's out of the way when I'm going down, but able to pop up at the odd time I need to pedal.

I know it's different strokes and all, but I can't stand riding a bike with the seat slammed down - DJ bike being the exception. I find it offers more control with the seat up.

Check my stuff for sale!

That's what I've found too. When I'm on a jumpy trail it goes down, but depending on what trail I'm riding the seat will be at different levels. The ease of changing on the fly makes it a good addition to the bike. That, and a bell. Bells are awesome!

For the record, she's at 38.5 lbs. Not bad for a dh bike at all.

Thats not a downhill bike, its a freeride bike, maybe an oversized slopestyle bike.

Single crowns are part of this category, like them or hate them.

nope, single crowns and dual crowns are out and only triple crowns are in. Everyone is disqualified.

There seems to be a lot of talk and not enough pics.

37.7lbs which is pretty decent for not the lightest frame, medium-heavy e13 cranks, and coil front+rear. Tubeless Highroller 3C.. thing is a beast but playful. Next up are XO dh cranks, and contemplating possible [HTML_REMOVED]36lbs with RockShox air front+rear but can't quite part with the 888 feel just yet.
