Crappy iPhone pic, just finished building it. Sorry for disrupting the lame Morpheus conversation, I know it's an important topic. No idea on weight.

Here's an actual racer at Windham with his Morpheus. It does stand out from the crowd.

Stand out cause it looks like a pile of shit? You bet.

Clunking is for retards.

Yup that's why it stands out. A carbon weave piece of poo. Whatever, I'm not a fan either but I'm sure the bike has some merits.

Shed head!

Bullit's back and feeling good. Not vastly different from last time but got a Sunline chainguide and bars and an XT rear mech. So odd after riding only bmx and hardtail for ages though. Sold the Domains as I was inbetween coil weights. Will eventually get air Lyriks or similar. Needs better brakes as well, Juicy 5s keep having sticky pistons and needing bleeding all the time. And the pedals are temporary.

Around 37lbs still, not the lightest but it'll do.

I overheard Semenuk and a buddy mocking Mitch Chubey's carbon Morpheus DH bike at Whistler last week

"I don't care if it's carbon, it's ugly as fuck"

At the other end of the spectrum here's my fresh rAd do0d build for 2012. My $810 Giant Glory. Well, it was 700 bucks but the rear wheel had seen better days so bought another cheap set of wheels off PB. Plus swapped and traded a few things, did a socket and vice bearing change on some bearings in the garage and it's ready to destroy B line (and maybe the chairlift). Weight? Who fecking cares…. ;)

That's the nicest $800 DH bike I've ever seen.

Thanks, no I picked it up from Craiglist around 10 minutes after the guy posted it up. He was moving to Ontario with his wife and had no reason for a DH bike. It needed a load of work, but came with some spares, a 661 Moto helmet in pretty well new condition etc. It was a complete bike but I've swapped some stuff out to suit my needs, such as the handlebar and brakes.

In fact, it's this bike if anyone happens to know the guy:

That bike from the matrix looks like the very first rocky mountian rm6's.
Very first ride, "SNAP" :woot:
