i seem to remember different bikes posting about the upgrade last year in the inside line. and if drewm's advocating for the change, then different seems like a good bet to be able to source them

I know for a fact that the nice folks at Obsession: Bikes, Steed Cycles and Different Bikes North Vancouver (if I do say so myself) regularly stock this upgrade.

(We literally sold our last one ~30 seconds ago, while I was making this post, but we'll have more Tuesday.)

There are multiple suppliers for these parts, so whoever you prefer to deal with should have no problem bringing them in for you.

Just finished a little rebuild of my 2010 Rune. Big thanks to the boys at North Shore Bike Shop for their help on this. Great service.
Bad iPhone pics for now (bcferry corp. lighting) and no scale shot til new wheels get built. Just had two big snow free days on Hornby with this thing and what a fun bike. Also there is nothing else out there right now that feels like the Marzo 55 RC3 Ti. It is an awesome fork. My buddies on Talas/Floats minds were blown.

Finally retired the G-Spot and wanted something lighter and slightly less travel. The Dixon had everything I was looking for and then some, so I ordered one up!

Still waiting on Reverb and going to try out a couple different shocks before I finalize the build but this is how she stands right now:

Haven't had a chance to weigh it yet, but guestimations put it around 27lbs.

Just Ride.

That's a nice looking Rune peterson. Still want one but they're so expensive here and not sure on the whole bushing thing.

I'm thinking of getting something a bit more of the Climbing side of AM. My bike also seems like a pig compared to the Kona. How?

My Bullit with a few slight changes since last year! Now got 2 721 rims (back one is grey but it only cost me a tenner) and both tyres are Specialized Clutch SX which have been nothing but awesome for me. I will eventually replace the stem and seatpost with nice shiny Thomsons, and get a spesh BG saddle for it. Oh and the forks need to go, maybe some of the new air u-turn Lyriks when I can afford it. May possibly get a dropper post if I decide it climbs well enough with wound-in forks. Weighs about 37lbs at the minute.

Here it is bout 2/3 of the way up Snowdon on Tuesday. It climbs like shit with 180mm forks and I got thrashed on the way up by my mate on his hardtail.

Just picked up a 2012 Specialized Enduro Comp. Any reason not to throw on an old boxxer world cup on the front instead of the lyrik that's on there?

It will alter the handing of the bike, likely negative as the Enduro was designed for a 6" travel fork not an 8" fork
