Here's mine, 2012 Trek Slash, no idea how much it weight, light enough ( I'd say 30 MAX ).I built it to be strong and fast pointed down and the thing freaking RULES . .Bobs quite a bit going up , meaning it wasnt valved with climbing in mind which I actually like…Still pretty decent to pedal though , not has good as my 2009 Remedy but going down is a whole different story…It gives me the impression of a DH bike with less travel rather than a Mini-XC esque DH bike…Very , very stable @ speed and in the chunder.

XTR derailleur/shifters
FOX 36 VAN
Chromag bar/stem/ring

(not in the running due to the weenie rear tire)

(yes, the seat is cranked way forward - deal with it. that and the 70mm stem get me where i like, even though it looks goofy.)
2011 Trance-X small frame/headset
Sektor Solo Air 150mm fork/20mm
Hadley rear-10mm bolt thru hub/819 UST
Hope/717 front
ADvantage 2.1 UST rear/2.25 front combo
1x10 combo SRAM/Shimano, 31 x 11-36 geared
cut down XCX guide to work with the bashring
Race Face bar and stem, SLR seat, Reverb post
Elixir something brakes160/185mm, XT pedals, cheapie LX crank
lotsa' little ti and alu bits here and there

A touch over 27# here. Could drop a fair bit with a swap to a Revelation, spendier crank, going X.0 vs. the X.9, but don't care to spend the money to do so. Plus, I'm pretty damn pleased with the way thte bike is now. Has proven to be a very fun bike to ride, even compared to the Spitfire frame it replaced.
Works really nicely on the trails around here for me. Have a Reign-X built up for the shuttle/lift/going to Moab type stuff.

Bought a complete X-4 demo bike for super cheap, just to get the frame. Going to a Revelation WC, spendier bling build, carbon rims, and carbon frame version of this is appealing, just to see how light and still be durable things could go, but just can't bring myself to spend that kinda dough.

Won't win the weight race even being Carbon (not with Lyrics and a reverb anyhow).

It hasn't changed. I won't be dropping it in every thread as it is old news. Same weight.

Just about done, tire choice isn't final and I need a front brake adapter but final weight should be within 1/2lb of this

While I don't normally name my bikes, Rob came up with the name "Shamu" and it's as good as anything I can think of.

So quick on the scale that the tubeless setup still has bubbles on it.

I would do the same thing. :D

it was a quick attempt to get them sealed up, but I haven't really decided on which tires I'm going to run yet so I didn't put any sealant in.

^ The advantage can be a bit of a handful in the wet/muck, great hardpack tire though. Nice looking bike Dave!

I see.

I'm also setting up some Chargers. I have the front sealed up but the rear arrived with torn tape. I have new tape coming but it is driving me nuts not being able to get a final weight on the bike.

thanks

yeah, I've got a few rides on the Advantage and wasn't pleased with the wet performance. I'll put them back on in the summer. I'll likely go dual high rollers for the winter but obviously I'm picking the lightest tires out of the pile for the scale shot!
