Industry build LOL….

I sold my 'shitting dog' and bought myself a nice iron dandy horse frame instead. Note 20th century wheel size, ancient XTR rear derailleur and prehistoric DeoreXT Sharkfin! My old Singletracks refuse to die so the bike is fairly hefty (just under 31lb) but I don't care. Thanks to NRG and Orange Sports Supply for the 'reacharound' deals, and to Race Face for the 'Reacharound with cheeky thumb insertion' deal on the Turbine stem.

Nice. Sometimes I think I should get a Sakura and transfer all of my aluminum xc hardtail parts on that sweet sweet chromoly ride.

Wrong. Always.

Sometimes I think you should shut up already until you buy a f-ing bike..

In fact I think we need a Buster Bluth banning pole..

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

But I do have a bike. Can't a gal obsess over her next bike? Who brought in the bike nazis? You really come across as some kind of overly groomed, uptight, Ultimate player. Ya know that?

I hope your 29er gets a flat and it spews Stans all over your meticulously maintained Ultimate frisbee. Ya fuckin' ass-hat!

You aren't a gal, and you fill up every bike thread with "Should I get this {Insert trendy bike of the day}?", and don't actually contribute anything constructive.

I find my humor constructive in a light-hearted puff-piece/weather-sports dude kind of way. I'm too much of a mtb-newby to add much constructive on the gear front, hence my questions. I'll cut back on the "should I get this or that, continual lusting, ad nauseum" if it gets your panties in a knot though.

And how do you know what gender I truly am? Have you actually seen my mangina??

All I know is I see way too much of this:

"This message is hidden because Buster Bluth is on your ignore list."

Often back to back and multiple times in one page. You're bloating the hell out of threads. Maybe you don't have a lot to contribute because you're new to the game. Doesn't mean that instead you should post your stream of consciousness internal dialogue every chance you get. Read and learn, maybe ask an intelligent question here and there - once.

Back to bikes…

Oh ffs. You'll miss me. Well maybe not dirty sanchez there, but the rest of you will. You'll see.

:nolove:

And yes…back to hardtail bikeys…

Wrong. Always.

I know who Buster Bluth is!

Anyway carry on, it'd be a boring place if we just talked about how efficient 29ers are, or how up and downy up and downy seatposts are.

I can't believe this thread drifted so far…

Here are mine:

HONZO!!! w/ an XT/XTR parts mix, 2012 Fox 34 (dropped to 4" to match stock geo with 5" Revelation), the major changes from this photo are a set of Hans Dampf tires and I have gone to 175mm cranks (180mm are great for 1-speed, but my legs are too short to spin them geared).

So you're at 110mm with the Float 34? So the Fox 34 at 110mm is the same A-C as the 120mm Revelation? I'm thinking of ditching the RS Revelation RLT 140 I have for my Honzo and get a Fox Talas 34 and run it mostly at 110mm, then 140mm for the big stuff and descents.
