Slightly off topic… Why is the min tyre size at 2.2? I'm running a 2.0 Larsen on my bikes (HT and AM) and it's not a small tyre.
NSMB - 2012 Light AM Hard Tail build off 4-7"
It's nothing crazy fancy. A lightened up/butted 4130 set. I think something from Columbus, but am not sure.
If it's Columbus then it will be Zona. Can build some nice light frames from it.

Will be interested to hear how it stands up being a fair bit lighter than the Trans-Am.

Hopefully it won't be an issue. The TA is quite overbuilt for what I'm doing, IMO, at just under 6# for my size small. For a frame this tiny, 4.5# seems about right.
I am a little leery of no gussets around the HT/DT area, but the builder (and some others) have assure me the larger area given with the 44mm HT and not using decent sized tubes for the rest gives plenty of stoutness.
Maybe they aren't needed, but I'll admit to liking them from the aesthetics standpoint.
Limit the number of dorps to falt and the gusset likely won't be an issue.
That is so clean. Same hooded dropouts as my Berg! I really like the look without gussets and you have tonnes of weld surface at the headtube so for AM/Trail riding that will be ideal.
Nice!

My new Chromag Stylus.
Size XL, right now with Lyrik RC2DH, XT cranks, 1x9 X9 drivetrain w/ E.13 SRS+, Hope Pro 2s on 721 front w/ 2.4" Trail Kings/729 rear w/ 2.2" Mountain Kings, Avid Elixir CR brakes (8" front/7" rear), Thomson seatpost, Chromag bar and seat, and the only 80mm 1.5" stem I could find (Truvativ). Eventually I'm probably going to go to a 1x10 XT group. The Elixir CRs are from my DH bike which is in pieces right now so they are just temporary.
Weight was 32.5lbs the last time I checked it, but until it's at 100% I'm happy being a claimer.
This bike rails, and I find that I'm using it more than my Delirium right now. I'm sure the honeymoon phase will eventually wear off, but right now I love this bike.
Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.
I just rebuilt an old friend for the remainder of the mud season.
Medium Cotic BFe with Fox 36 Float RC2 fork, XT/Race Face drivetrain, Race Face cockpit, XT brakes, Sun Ringle Charger Pro wheels, Bionicon c.guide, etc.
Weight is somewhere around the 30lb mark.
Head angle comes in at 67 degrees with the 160mm fork according to my iPhone. Seat angle is a rather slack 69 degrees.
Got another one of those Bionicon guides kicking around? Those look sweet.

Yes I have, but its one of the all plastic OE ones. Any good for you?
Seems like a neat little piece of kit. Its very light [HTML_REMOVED] is quick [HTML_REMOVED] easy to fit - you don't even have to break your chain. Its quiet, albeit not silent in operation [HTML_REMOVED] it seems to do a good job of keeping your chain on [HTML_REMOVED] limiting slap.
I hear that you'll be able to buy them locally soon as a North Van based distributor is picking them up.
how well does that Bionicon guide work? interested…
ditto, def thinking about one for my new rig

I'll report back after more testing.
I got my hands on a Bionicon c.guide and I've been running it on my Reign for about 3 weeks now…. So far, nothing put positives. Super light obviously, easiest install of all time, and it does it's job. I don't drop my chain, it doesn't flop into the granny ring anymore, and I don't notice anything negative about it.
My original solution was the new Pivot ISCG adaptor and running single ring, but that may change now….

Update to the old DCD?

c.guide passed the test… Very quiet, no dropped chains [HTML_REMOVED] no chain slap.
