just looking at a few frames to buy,i don't want to spend much money,so obviously the 03 norco ht's come into mind…around 300 bucks plus taxes for the rampage/torrent frameset.
anywayas.i have an 02 jr t qr20,7 inch…i want to get a ht frame that can take the fork,so that i can switch it between my vps1/new hardtail frame and decide which i like better;long travel HT or old long travel dually.
will the norco ht lineup take the fork,or will it just turn into an ultra slack POS.i'm kinda worried because the norco's geometry is allready pretty slack, and throwing on a big fork might make it TOO slack.
and i'm not interested in a 243 or letoy or anything..the seat tubes on those are too short for me.
Norco HT with 7 inch fork
i saw a 5hun with a dorado at bear mtn
LOL
looked so weird
hahaha
that would be funny
I had a sasquatch with a 03 monster on it.
superheros
I like bikes
i have a 2002 125 with Dh3's, dual 24, rides super nice, not too slack

i like the morphine better:P
I think your best bet is a Brodie Holeshot (not the '02) or Evolution (or even Brute).
The head angles of those frames perfectly compliment a 7" fork. I've owned two.
The Norcos would be a good second choice.
i saw a 2003 sasquatch witha monstoer t 2 on it
ht pride

i saw a pic of that it looked so different
If you don't want the bike to feel "too slack," maybe look in to the supercross framesets. The headangles are a lot steeper than the "shore" hardtails and would end up no where near as slack.
You might be worried about size… I'm 6' tall and have no problem with a 13" frame. I just jack my seat all the way up.. and I have my post cut down a bit too.
That RM Terek frame in the auction has a 70 degree head angle so it'd be pretty good. Not sure weather the headtube could handle it though.

i don't trust the rocky mountain series…
i'm still thinking on what to do,so far i'm either looking at one of those knockoff 243's,norco shore series hardtail or a used brodie….
