I wanted to make the first post. haha So here it is. I just got my norco 250 frame a couple of weeks ago and have some things i would like to say. The very first thing that I noticed when I was picking up the frame (no pun intended) i notcied that it was extremely heavy. The Perv cranks were also installed at the time. I was surprised as to how much heavier it is then my previous frame (PX jack flash rad) I mean i knew it was stell but I was not ready for what I felt. It is currently Set up single speed and with dual 24" wheels. With the added weight of a steel bar and stem and a steel fork the total package was much heavier then expected. The weight is very noticable while street riding, although not as obvious while dirt jumping. Anyways for the price of the frame it's an allright deal but its no perfect street frame.
i give this frame the following

weight 2/5
craftsmanship 3/5
looks 3/5
geometry 3.5/5

overall 3/5

and im spent:P

yes I lost it

I troll shitty posters like yourself, because it's amusing to watch you skidmarks get all riled up.

Yup, I've held both at the same time and the '03 is significantly lighter (not too light though)

the frames arent too heavy comparitively I noticed…one thing though…

something about all of the norco SX line is they feelreally heavy while riding….there is that feeling (like how a banshee or a le toy feels really light). IMO, it's a sign of poorly designed geometry.
