I'm 6'2", 35ish inseam running an XL HD. Now that I've ridden an XL Bronson and TBLT a bunch, I definitely prefer the longer fit of SC, measured about 15mm longer in reach. I'd be weary at 6'4" going with an XL Ibis.

Thank you for the first hand information. The Nomad isn't exactly long up top so the HD-R's numbers are a tad surprising.

My Trek Remedy died a hard death. I cratered the bearings in the Evo link, ovalizing the Evo link and the seat tube while I was at it.

XL Nomad (aluminium) with an RC4 has been ordered.

i have limited time on a nomad (C), but i can say so far im really impressed.

its a fantasic bike with 160mm in the front. i am loving VPP right now.

any reason going with the coil shock? The RP23 works really well on this bike when setup correctly. it works nicely with the natural platform of the rear end. i havent tried a coil on the bike, but was advised to only go that route for pure gravity.

oh, and im 6'4" and the XL fits perfect.

Nicely done. I actually prefer my Nomad with a 160mm fork than the 180mm 66RC3 I was running previously, it feels much more balanced and nimble and hasn't slowed me down on anything I've ridden yet.

I love the feel of a coil and with a fair bit of gravity I seem to chew through air cans.

We're the same height so I'm stoked on the XL frame fit.

You will be stoked on the bike.

I'm running mine with a 55mm stem, over a 1/4 inch spacer. Handles awesome and super playful.

If you haven't committed to the HDR yet, you should also be seriously considering the Transition Carbon Covert.

I've been riding one for a few weeks with a CCDB air and can't express in tangible terms how much I'm enjoying it. It's simply amazing.
