I have a set of ONYX CenterLock hubs on laced up by my LBS to WAO Agent 29.
Only downside is lack of audile warning indicator I'm on the trail to others during solo rides.

When I got my new bike that have E13 wheels/hubs on it I thought holy shit this mofo is loud, maybe I should get a quieter wheel set. But like you say though, depending on where you're riding it's great for alerting other trail users, especially hikers, as they know your coming and get out of the way.
best hubs on the market by a long shot.
I'm not a fan of the feel of the sprague hubs. The vague feel when putting out high watts on steep hills just didn't sit well with me.
I'm really looking forward to trying out the new XTR hubs though. I’m hoping they get things moving and roll the Scylence tech over to their road hubs too.
Not sure what type of wattage you guys are putting out, but I dont get the Vague feel that lots of people post about..or the slip on initial pedal
Clearly I'm not pedaling hard enough
I'm with JBV that these hubs do rock, the silence and the infinite engagement...the only thing I dont like is the weight, my setup comes in heavier than the E13 wheels they replaced
Noble TR38 (With Gorilla tape and valves)
Regular front: 800 Grams
HD rear: 1200 Grams (WTF)

TL;DR The target weight of the new hubs is 320 grams, where current rear hub weighs 414 grams. Summer 2019.
love the sound of my rear hub . silent hub would be boring .
Love my loud E13 hub/wheelset as well. Let's people know I'm coming and keeps the bears away!

Ya new bike has the E13's. Sounds like I have a 30 pound salmon on my reel running deep.

it will be a small miracle (with pricing to match i reckon) if they can make one of these incredible sprague hubs in a lightweight version. i wonder how the durability/longevity will be affected. i would be inclined to just get a current version despite the added mass.
I've run NOBL hubs for almost 3 seasons now. I came from Hope Pro 2 hubs. I do not notice the added weight of the hub. I do notice the instant engagement, sweet silence, and very smooth bearing. I won't be going back.

have you had to do any maintenance, lubing, etc? great feeling on technical climbs eh.
Only maintenance has been when Dave at Bicycle Hub checked the bearing during a yearly overhaul. All good. According to NOBL the sprag clutch only needs lube every 3 years or so I think.
5 year warranty on the hub body. One of my rotor mounting bosses snapped. NOBL replaced the hub and rebuilt the wheel with a 2 day turnaround. I've been really happy with their level of customer service. If you live in the vancouver area you can drop your wheel off at their abbotsford warehouse.

I'm a wimp, but they certainly have soft engagement, much like Shimano's Alfine hubs. Different tech to get the same result. I'm not saying it's a bad thing but they do have a different feel.
