Canfield Jedi
Customer service is great. Good luck breaking it and boutique status.

If anything those trannys are super common,
The Ardum looks good, Podium and Legend are probably 2 top contenders with good strength to weight and boutique status.

I know people with Legends and Podiums and they love them. Also, spares are held in Vancouver for both brands.

wow you are a ass
Intense M9? Alternative to the 951.
I've owned Giant, RM and Transition. Transition is BY FAR the best company i've dealt with. I'm sure not everyone will say that, but it's hard to go with anyone else the way they've treated me. Plus, i love their bikes.

Then they said, But Dave, we're sisters.
FTW Industries FB-10. Size XL, custom build. Love mine. Great customer service from Frank the Welder, too.
FYI, I'm 6'6" and ~200lbs.

Yup, that is my current set up, with a boxxer R2C2.
Like every other Canfield owner, I drink their Kool-Aid, but it is soooooo good.
If you are looking for a plow bike, look no further.
Knolly Podium
+4
So that's at least 3 other Podiums in the lift line. It's well worth it though.
Either that, or the v10c. You won't be let down by either, since they're two of the fastest, most confidence inspiring bikes I've ever ridden.
Id you like the bearings on your 07 dhr. If they worked for you then the new dhr sounds like your next bike.
lots of nice bikes out there now. norco, transition, even kona makes a slick frame now.
norcos large was too big for me and im 6'4
Parking lot punter with a beer belly
Banshee Legend
Transition 250/450
Commencal V3
Xprezo Furax
You've completely described the Transition TR's. They are among the strongest frames around (but not tanks) and there isn't a better company for customer support, and have a great warranty. Also, they are semi-local. MUCH better choice than Yeti in that regard.

He's looking at boutique status though too, every kid who rides with the COC camp will be on a transition, v-10 or Morewood, as well as anyone who has bought an ex camp bike off them. I haven't seen a lot of Yeti's up there, and if he buy's the 2012 he'll probably be the only one on one. Everyone will say ooh and ahh and ask him questions about it; he seems to want the extra attention :P.
