I was walking the dog the other day and a guy on a nice looking 29er hardtail (couldn't see what it was but it looked like sexy sleek steel tubes and was definitely of the 100mm forked xc-genre) comes zooming by me and I jokingly say "nice clown wheels" and he keeps riding but at about 100 feet away he lifts his right arm up into the air and gives me the finger without even skipping a beat.

Wrong. Always.
