man they are thing of simple beauty eh? liked the used pair i bought so much i put the plastic down for a new pair on the udder bike. like the scarabs a lot, demo'd a pair of atlas, very nice and even though they are each the same size as the vaults (within a mm or 2 on pin placements i believe) the vaults definitely feel the best and most secure. close to the perfect flat i reckon.

I was pretty pissed when I broke a pair of the originals. Hope these are beefier.

my original set was from purplebike buy/sell and were pretty beat up but otherwise intact and spinning smoothly. still are but i'm not pounding them into rock at a bike park. maybe next season though haha. i did take a painstaking time on these to remove the screws and dab loctite on all before reinstalling. i'm hoping this will prevent any from just backing out which has happened. now if normal coastal weather returned i could at least ride around the streets and work on my wheelies an bunny hops…. fuk dis weather…
