does anybody else feel that the adjustment knob is in a vulnerable position at the bottom of the left leg?

Possibly but no. A few other forks have them located there. Some are less protruding however.

It's so ugly though

They need it in black with the decals they have on the sc forX

Other then the color and the stickers though i really like it, my brother just bought a vanilla r, and another friend has a vanilla rlc and they are one of the best feeling forks ever and when ever i ride them it makes me want to throw my sherman off a f-bombing cliff.

So if the new dh fork feels as good as the sc's im gonna be throwing my sherman off a cliff and buying a fox

40mm uppers and less than 7lbs. I'm curious to see if its true. Unless they're using somekind of NASA aluminum, I just cant see how they can make it under 7lbs.

There 40mm but they're using thinner tubbing hence they save weight and still durable. This is what Marla Streb told me at the US Open.

This is true… bigger diameter gives you the chance of using thinner walls.

Might not be great if you drop it onto some rocks though.

The first Forx were built by hand with bushes matched to stanchions… this was because the tolerancing of the parts wasn't the best. Hopefully now they've sorted out the single crown forks the DH ones will be great from the start.

Judging by the price of their SC fork, it'll be pretty expensive.
