Ahem.

Oh Snap:rolleyes:

He's asking for feedback on parts, which is the whole point of this forum.

Anyways,

Hussefelt bars: I've got these on my Bullit. They're triple butted which makes them decently light and I like the sweep on them. The finish also seems pretty good for a lower end bar. Keep in mind they're only 27" wide uncut so you probably won't like them if you like super wide bars. I think the the width is just right for a shorter travel dually though.

Headsets: FSA pig, Pig DH, or Chris King. IMO you should buy one of these three depending on your budget. Unless you get a killer deal anything else is overpriced for what you get.

Marz DJ series: proven to be stiff, reliable and heavy

Rockshox Argyle: hyped to be lighter and better dampened than the DJ. Unknown reliability and heavier than a Pike.

I think I'd get a DJ 2 or a DJ 3 20mm. Even better than paying big money for an 06 IMO would be to find an 05 on sale somewhere for a good discount.

That would be the weirdest bike ever! a Fully with a rigid fork, its like the opposite of a hardtail.

Yah its a hard nose.

For bars, you should get something that suits you. As much as a board member likes a set of bars, for all you know they could have wings. Bars should be to ones own preferance

Headset: For a DJ bike, you cant beat a king. The thing is though do you want to shell out the cash for something that you may not really even notice

Fork : Pikes are always good. Definatly not a rigid.

mike, what happened to the pike?

p.s. PICS?

send them a pic of you riding their DH RACE bike off the roof of Rochester School…and ask if the crack is really a manufacturing defect.
