…for an 1989 weight lifter with a fanny pack!

Don't mind me then, I'm just going to grab my fanny pack and head to the gym.

I ride in these, they are OK. I find that they lack mid-sole support, so I use a reinforced insole. When they wear out, I'm going back to the traditional Impact 2 (as opposed to the VXi).

These fit me the best, however they only last me for one bike park season.

Looks like they are going to be hella expensive though. I wish TEVA would make their shoes again. I really like my old Shimano's…but they are really starting to fall apart now.

I guess this is my point….with all technological advancements and care put into the design of frames [HTML_REMOVED] other components (read about the Ibis re-design), I find it utterly bizarre that the shoe seems to have been left out (Ok…OK…all kidding aside….there are some decent ones out there…but they are the exception).

Remember when the Bell V1 was the only thing going? Now companies like POC [HTML_REMOVED] Bell are really re-creating the helmet.
Remember when wool was de riguer? Thank gawd for pertroleum by-products [HTML_REMOVED] Italian designers.

Arcteryx is an excellent example of how someone took the utilitarian climbing harness [HTML_REMOVED] mountain wear and went from being "practical" to functionally superior [HTML_REMOVED] stylish.

The Teva Links were nice. I have a pair. But my freerider vxi are WAAY lighter and I prefer the grippier stealth rubber (even with the bald patch.) The insole of the Links are amazing so I'm using it in my five tens though.

Wrong. Always.

Interesting. More of a hipster look than skater shoe look. I can't wait to see the features list and then some reviews. And how it fits on a narrow foot.

Wrong. Always.
