Does that mean we'll see the man known only as Punky at Bearclaw?!

I'll be the guy drinking orangeboo out of a Wendy's or McDonalds cup. Oh wait that's half the island….

Fuck no. I ain't travelling 8hrs to watch some half-baked sloppy style contest on some hill I can't even ride on afterwards.
Thought the Island is Lucky country, or is that just the wanna-be rednecks?

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

Lucky has become pretty pricey over here.

Serious question here …

How do you get from Powell River to Whistler with only 1 ferry??

 I was also wondering how it took him two ferries and 8 hours to get from Powell River to Mt Washington.

Well I live in Roberts Creek so it's a ferry off the lower coast then a ferry to the Island.

I'm good, but not build a private road to Whistler good.

PS Texada to Van Isle would be two ferries:P

PPS. There is some good XC trails being developed in PR now. Nice upgraded highway south of town with a wide paved shoulder for road. 60km+ loop out and back to the ferry

I've been meaning to do a tour of the PR trails. Wasn't sure what to ride so I figured I'd just the BCBR map and follow that, but if you've got suggestions I'm all ears.

That would be a good start. I'd skip starting at Willingdon Beach though. Start up near the Airport and go up to into the Enchanted FOrest or start from Edgehill school

If you want to ride in PR look for someone to tag along with here -

Lots of the trails aren't marked that well so having someone who knows their way around would help. Lots of the older fellas are happy to show people from out of town around.
