What adjuster does what? on the eack leg there is the upper silver and lowver blue knob. What does each one do?
Mr T help
Blue is rebound, silver compression

is there a preload?
Actually illomatic is mistaken. The large blue knob on each side is preload. If the Mr. T is a 99 then both of the inner (flat blade screw driver adjust) knobs control rebound dampening. If the fork is a 2000 then the inner knob on the left is compression dampening and the knob on the right is rebound dampening. That being said I'm fairly sure that your fork is a 99 because I remember the 2000s only having red or black preload knobs. Hope that helps.
see the fork was bought new from zocchi in 03. i dunno what year it would actually be.
u cought it from them? how'd u manage that? and what u pay?

yeah he found it stuffed behind a file cabinet. then he gave it the stiff springs and a rebuild since it had been sitting. I got a buddy at zocchi who told me he'd see what he could dig up. and he got ti for me. What i paid is none of your buisness
If it's orange and has 20mm dropouts it's a 98
If it's orange and has 9mm dropouts it's a 99
If it's silver and has QR-20 dropouts it's a 2000
2000 has rebound and compression, 98 and 99 are rebound only.
i got a 98 mr t brand new from marzocchi for 330$
i never got to ride it :( i sold it to mr blinded cuz i had to make a few dollars to get my Scream. so i didnt mind the trade off.

you can buy a scream any day of the week. 4" triple clamp 20mm gems like that don't come around every day.
$330 is a good deal.
I bought a used one for $200 and I would never part with it.

they're nice forks but i dont think i would buy one unless it was brand new. 1998 fork. thats how many years of riding let alone continued abuse. any fork will break after like 5 years of dirtjumping.

it's stupid how good condition the one i got was. One scratch….maybe….i might have made it putting it in my trunk. I have no worries.

my mr t is amazing. i would never go for another fork if i had the chance to buy another when i bought this one, but 5" on a 7" freeride bike is odd, so i'm looking for a larger fork. for a hardtail, it can't be beaten. so plush and progressive, i'm keeping mine and cobbling together a ht when i get a new fork.
Beauty is in the eye of the rider.
Mines got two rides totaling about 4 hours of riding. If you want it make an offer. I need money so i can get a sherman.
