Not having owned either i would say get the minions if you are racing or spend a lot of money on tires and value light weight.
The kendas will probably last longer and have a stiffer casing, good for hard riding and non racing stuff.
Both are nice tires, you will be happy with either choice i suspect.
Nope overtime doesn't have the nevegal in stock.

My bad, i got the idea fro some unknown reason that they had sidewalls more comparable to intense fro tires.
I still say minions for racing and kendas for all around dh and fr riding. The maxxis 40 duro tires are hard to match for grip, and the minions are suposed to have amazing tread patterns for all around riding but i don't have experince with new kenda compounds and so on.
again, each are sweet tires, flip a coin.
How about "other." I know your only trying to decide between the kendas and the maxxis, but I would vote for michis (2.8, etc).
so yeah, go michelin!
Guess you've never ridden whistler when it's really dry then.
So far i've called both coves, jh , dizzy(van),overtime, caps new west ,simons and no one has the 2.5 nevegal DH in stock!

Here's the best u.s. on-line price. (They have the wrong pic up) I run a 2.35 rear and 2.5 front. Both Nevegal, both grippy ;)
