SuspensionWerx at one point carried DVO, I think that they still do. Otherwise, anyone with a Live to Play (Norco) account should be able to order one for you.

You're fee to come take a ride on my bike in October once the Mezzer is mounted and dialed in.

I know that Andrew Major has a Mezzer in hand for testing and possibly an article is on its way on this very site. He picked his up a day (or two) before I was in for mine.

Get ahold of Matt with Evolve bikes - he can spec bikes with DVO and has an OEM line-up.

I'm leaning towards buying the DVO Diamond in the spring.  Just wanna see the review on the mezzer first.  Who sells the DVO in town? After exchange/duty could get a bit spendy.

I'm really happy with my DVO Beryl--it's got simpler internals than the Diamond but same chassis.

I also had the Auron 34 as part of NSMB's test program. I liked it more than the Fox 34 Performance Grip. For my uses, I felt it was on par with my Fox 36 Performance Grip. The Beryl has the same external adjustments as both of the above, but the OTT (internal in the Beryl) offers a really supple start to the stroke and better overall control of the travel. I'm not overly picky about my suspension, but even I can tell the DVO works better.

The DVO's feel great - the negative coil spring (OTT) gives a lot of the suppleness of a full coil fork. I hopped back on my big bike (Fox 36, Grip2) after riding my SS a lot with a Sapphire 34 and I honestly thought the 36 needed a warranty. It feels rubbish off the top compared, although the Grip2 damper is pretty refined.

The new 170/80mm DVO Onyx SC 29" fork is available in a couple weeks, but with a big trip planned I decided not to wait and have a Smashpot for my 36.

275 Onyx is $785 USD direct from DVO now. 😮

I think the positive views of the different users gets pretty clear and that they like it much more than concurrence products from RS DVO and others.

My Mezzer is already ordered and hope to mount it to my mde damper in 2 weeks, when the frame is back.

As I have owned 2 mattoc pro, I knew it would be a killer fork if they could even refine all of attributes only 1 step.

I thought I’d dredge this. I’m thinking about a Mezzer for my singlespeed. Currently running a DVO Saphire 34 that I really like, but just find it feels kind of agrarian at times.

In contrast, my 36 with Smashpot on geared bike is amazing - the HBO ramp works great.

Buying a 36 to convert gets pricey. How are people finding their Mezzer’s after a year? Durable?

The only downside is 140min minimum. I’d live to get one down to 130 or 120...

No comments on the Mezzer unfortunately but I think the current gen Mattoc is for the Lower travel segment. For what it’s worth I’ve loved my Mattoc for the last 4 years.

I've had both the current gen Mattoc in 27.5 (on a Knolly Endorphin) and currently riding the Mezzer on my Banshee Titan in 29 form.

The Mezzer is more refined, but the Mattoc was leagues ahead of anything at its price point IMO. The Mezzer now ships with the updated seals and lowers (that have a pressure release valve/bleed port), mine didn't originally form the factory but was able to get the updated lowers and seals when I sent it to Smithtech for service.  I'm very happy with the Mezzer and I'm preferring it to the 2020 Fox 36 that I'd previously been using as it sits higher in its travel but actually uses all of its travel, something that I just couldn't accomplish with the 36 @ 170mm.

You can't go wrong with the Mattoc, I went from a Fox 34 to a Mattoc and found it to be both stiffer and more precise.

Is there still a Manitou Distributor/Service Centre in Canada/BC or would I be on my own for support?

I believe S4 in Quebec is now the only official Canadian dealer/service center, but I've heard good things from people who have dealt with them recently. You can also order product straight from Manitou, I believe.

SmithTech here in North Van can still order and service product, but that's more of a side gig these days, since he works full time at SuspensionWerx (they don't do Manitou sales/service).

SmithTech website says it's based outta Calgary.  Good to know the info isn't up to date.

Email Zac directly; [email protected], he's back in North Van and the truck is still geared up so his mobile rig is still servicing suspension. He dropped off my second Mezzer last week, manitou is on revision 3 of the lowers, eager to get it mounted on the second bike.

Is "V3 of the lowers" as bad as it sounds?
