Oh no dudes! I just took my mini-mag light scanned the sidewall of my MM and discovered it were "TRAILSTAR"! :damn::scream::crybaby:=/

Does this portend my untimely demise on my annual new years day ride?

Report in please! Did you survive?

I've been riding MM's super gravity trailstar on the rear, vertstar on the front for a couple of years, and I'm not dead yet. I am old, fat and slow though.

Sorta'. Managed to get the front sideways going down that ramp on Lower Snake which was just fine until I ran out of wood and hit dirt when the TRAILSTAR abruptly stopped (:???:) causing me to fly in the air, eh?
Now I gots big welts above the knee and below the elbow from where I landed in a heap on that 2x something standing proud they stuck in the ground there to hold back the hill. :hurt:

Doesn't Michelin make a Pilot Sport Cup 2 mtn. bike trye?

With Maxxis re-upping their rubber game is there even a point to Schwalbe tires now?

Why slag free swag?

Have a MM vert star folding on the front and a 3c dhr on my Transition patrol. Perfect shore winter combo. But yes it is slow rolling. Gibbs of traction, great in the loose and mud. Sticky on the rock.

Found the Trailstar good for summer but not once it got wet and cold out. Tried the butcher 2grip on the rear before but felt it did not have enough grip on loose wet dirt (lugs are shorter. It was good in summer though.

Have a DHF waiting to put on but not sure when I would use it. I guess in the summer if I want a little faster rolling.

Where could one find this "gravy train"?

Weight weenies:

Just weighed a 2.35 evo snakeskin. 890g. Thought would be more with all those gnarly knobs.

Should have calipered it before I took it off, casing is not all that big I'd say, same as NN? MM's large appearance is all knobs.

Tire has fuck-yeah-mother-fucker grip, perfect not-too-round prifile, and gives more confidence than anything else I've ridden. Absolutely kills the Butcher and HR2 I had mounted previously. But jeeezus it's slow.

Now I get it, that wasn't a serious comment.

We're gonna need a time machine to go back in time to figure out what I was trying to say.

If you plan on buying from b-d.de, make sure you get on the email notifications for the tires and buy them the second you get the email. It's been like that since June 2015 and I've gotten two orders in and only could buy 2 during each order.

Is anyone using magic Marys in the dh casing in 2.5? I have an oppurtunity to buy some on the cheap for my 26" Devinci Wilson. I've heard Schwable 2.3 is more like a 2.5 Maxxis and I was wondering what people think.

total scam. he put food before beer.
