I tried it (low front end) a few years back when it first popped up and just wasn't my cup o' tea….

Looks like Sam Hill and the crew are running 1.5 rise bars on their Dh bikes and bars around the 730mm width. The Renthall gear does look solid though.

One thing that everyone here has missed is that head tubes have gotten shorter and shorter over the years especially on larger frames. When you throw in the bigger diameter head tubes with flush headsets you can easily lose 40mm in height.

For example, the large V10a had a 5" head tube plus the added height of external headset cups while the large V10c has a 4.9" head tube with flush cups. That's quite a bit of difference. Personally I think head tubes have gotten too short especially on larger frames. Most large and extra large frames have head tubes that are less than 1" longer than the small frames while the riders are a foot taller. WTF!
