Yeah...Rocky, Devinci, Giant, Knolly etc. Do the big boys ship direct to Canada (Trek, Specialized)?

Specialized has an office/distro in Quebec. No idea if bikes/parts land directly in French-land.  I can't recall about Trek.  They do have some form of global distribution

A buddy was just back east looking at the new Specialized bikes in Montreal . As for Trek I would think would have a warehouse , they have 3 stores locally now . The new EVO is supposed to be killer looking in person .

~34 lbs though with the stock but functional build. It's not a high end build mind you. But nonetheless that's a lot of weight to truck around for a trail bike. Too bad they didn't offer frame only for the alloy Evo

It,s a solid foundation , with the Fox 36 and the rear shock IMO . And totally agree you about a frame set , maybe next year.

Nice.  Covers much of what I didn't like about the SB5.5  Mainly it not coming stock with an X2. Bidon bolts inside the frame.Slacker.  STA might be too slack though...

Everything comes with 44mm offset for 29ers in 2019MY.  I'd laugh if the offset was 37mm though.

With current FX, it comes up just above $4,900 CAD, once you factor in the Canadian distribution premium, you're likely looking at $5,500 conservatively.

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

Doesn,t look like it , I know they were a very popular bike on the Canadian Enduro series . I did  couple races and marshaled an event and was surprised at the number of riders on a Yeti.
