Looks like they got their 74.5 from centre bb to centre st clamp. Not good for tall dudes, maybe good for midgets.

Ugly bike, ugly numbers.

Devinci must’ve spent all their time and money building a time machine. They went back to 2010 for those two numbers.

That bike looks awesome. They say they vary the layup to get ideal ride characteristics for each size. I wonder if they vary ESTA by size as well?

So the biggest bike on the shore is officially here. XL Pole Evolink 158. Reach: 535, Stack: 652, ESTA: 78, HTA: 64, WB: 1353, CS: 455. 34.5lbs as pictured, which isn't bad considering how much metal is there. So far I love the geo. It's definitely long but not at all hard to ride; it's affecting my timing and balance point a bit for manuals but nothing I won't adapt to. It feels like the right length for my center of gravity. I can get it around the Kirkford corners without issue.

What happened to the Sentinel?  Did it not work out for you, or is this an addition to the fleet?  That is a LOOOOONG bike!

Too small. The reach numbers seemed big on paper but in practice it was so small, like knees-hitting my bars-small even with a 50mm stem. I'm another ride in on the Pole and I like it more and more. I am getting tired of the double entrendres though.

My new steed - 2018 Evolve Alpha 29er - 160mm/150mm DVO suspension, Eagle and shy of 30#.

Not too rough in the pocket book either.

How much travel is needed to be considered long travel?

This has 144mm rear travel with a 160mm fork. Wheels are of the wagon variety.

Need to see close ups of that pivot area.

That is where I am hiding all the unfinished work. :)

The main rocker links are just blank bar with the bearing holes bored in them and two other mount holes, no shaping or finish work yet. I was too impatient to finish and go ride. I'll get more pics up later when I mill the links.

Cool cool.

Is this another single pivot based on a threaded bb like your 650b enduro bike from a few years back?

I'm interested in geo numbers: HTA, STA, Reach, BB drop, CS length, FC, RC, WB. I'm hoping you went extreme!
