My bike hung by the front wheel for six months and now brake levers go to the bar. Wha' hoppen?
Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

Air in the lines. Re bleed
I always hang by the back wheel because I have had forks leak while hung by the front wheel
you must have had air in there for there to be air in the system
I hit the piston/caliper/ lines to dislodge air bubbles during the bleed
Resin or metallic?
Ok, I went with metallic. Duh.
Funny thing though. I put the new pads in without a bleed job and the brakes work just fine!
Which is kinda' odd 'cause they obviously felt worn, ie brake lever going close to bar last time I rode the bike, but after a few months on the hook the front lever then went right to bar without engaging pads.
Nope, not that odd. When you push the pistons all the way back, to make room for the new, thicker pads, you'll push most of the bubbles out of the brake hose and into the reservoir of the lever.
It's possible to "repair" your brake on the trail with that trick. Even with worn pads.
So what you're saying is that if I go for a ride, do a quick endo, jump back on the bike and keep riding I might grab a big fat handful of nothin' next I squeeze the front binders?
Maybe I should..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QfiV1FgLxw ?
