Most helpful thing I came across so far, is to buy a schwack of assorted length velcro bands from Ebay. I think I payed under $10 (delivered) for a bunch of blue straps ranging from 6" to 18". These are dynamite for keeping batteries in place if you use a bar-mounted light with remote battery. Also fantastic for mounting smaller battery packs to your helmet. They also can be used for pumps, tires, and other things. I always keep a spare with me when I head out at night in case I need to bojangle my setup.[/QUOTE]

Anyone found velcro straps like this for sale in a store in Metro Van?

Rather strap the extra wire down vs. rapping it around the handle bar 5-10 times.

One of these arrived this week and I would like to see about getting more flood. Has anyone successfully bought one of the orange peel backings and replaced it? If so from where? Are there any DIY methods? I was honestly wondering about just scratching up the lense with some sandpaper…

Got my order shipped email on Sept 27th, still no package. Check the lightmalls site…just said it was shipped from Singapore and that it is in transit. Search Canada post, number is not in tracking system. Fuck. Airmail my ass.

Did you check your tracking number here?

Weird that people have such different experiences with the shipping, mine was just a little over the quoted time on their site and yours has been over a month.

Mine was MIA from the time just after it shipped till it arrived in Canada (~10 days).

I'm guessing what ever method they use to get it from Asia to Canada doesn't record any info.

For the people going on a month, my guess it has been shipped by boat.

Buy the good stuff once or the cheap stuff often… that's my mantra… even with lights. Come on Rivers you know better… ;-)

Haha…When the price difference is this large I gotta try. This is an experiment…We'll see how it goes.

Lightmalls for back to me, the package for returned to them so the had to send it off again, new tracking numbers and it looks like it is in Mississauga….

I had the same problem. Hopefully it works this time.
