For big battery, water bottle cage.

For small battery, under top tube.

I'm using an old Fox tool bag that was designed for under the seat. Works well with two batteries inside. I heart Velcro.

Others in this thread have mentioned that the Solarstorm batteries aren't as waterproof as they could be.

What are you using to improve the waterproofing?

I didn't get any sort of instructions or manual with my Solarstorm X2 lights, any hints on how long the batteries need to charge? I don't want to over charge them.

Thanks!

It was green before I plugged the battery in so wasn't sure what the LED was indicating.

MEC has a few Cygolite mounts that could be modified as well.

Last week ordered the same light head as have a one from 2 years ago that decided to tap out.

Lightmalls has helmet mounts for the Solarstorm (and probably a bunch of other lights too): http://www.lightmalls.com/helmet-mount-for-bicycle-lights

Edit: Just noticed that it is similar in design to the Light [HTML_REMOVED] Motion helmet mount for $9.75.
