yeah the local association just made a request for some one with an e-bike to adopt the trails that are  furthest up/ out,  since I don't work and  ride thru there alot I will remove deadfall or anywhere on the system actualy . To keep up on whats happening  we use the Slack app with an entry for each trail so you can tell at a glance whats going on

Sent you a PM

the next thing that they can sell you will be a big fucking pack so I fixed my Dakine Apex and i'm ready to be stylin

You know it. Every time I go out with just a bottle I don't drink enough water and oh look the bottle is already empty. Next ride I'm back using the same pack I've taken on virtually every ride of the last ten years. I have in frame storage which I use: it's nice to have a dedicated pump/EDC/plugs in each bike and I never forget to bring what's necessary but I always bring  a pack so I don't really need the frame storage and would be 100% fine without it. The stronger I am in the gym the less I care about the weight of the pack, which is to say never.

New bike presents new storage challenges. There is not much room between the shock and the mount.

I currently have the 76 Projects .3L piggy bag. Looking for smaller bag. Basically flatter. What have you seen?

This bag is an old under seat type with some straps and internal plastic stiffeners removed. It's held in place with a Wolftooth base and strap which might let you shift your cage up a little.

Or if that would limit bottle size I'm sure you could bodge up a strap to squeeze into the little triangle above the rocker.

I bought a few used bags like this cheap for experimenting with, they're a good starting point.

Edit - zoomed in further and saw the mount bolts, sweet.

I'm using this little salsa bag

Currently I actually use it under my seat like a little seat pack.

It rolls up so it only takes up as much space as what you put in it and seems reasonably waterproof.

I keep a 29er tubolito, wolftooth 8 bit pack pliers, bacon strip kit, and the chain breaker/tire lever/spoke wrench portion of a one-up tool in there.

Since it's strapped on and rolled up I store a multiool separately for easier access, but for storing stuff you need to have but don't always need, it's been perfect.
