well that explains what came rocking past me on CBC last week - one of those new Stinky's, dunno who the rider was, but he was shifting - both wheels railing the wooden top berm eh?

Yeah Kona made a sweet line of bikes this year, I checked into the Coil-Air and its running $3999.00 USD , the Stinky Deluxe is gona be close to the 05 price and I'm not sure about the Stinky Primo. I'm stoked to see Kona use some other fork and rim options i.e Fox, Mavics, sweet sweet sweet.

I like the new design for the Stinky line up. The Stinky Primo could be a very nice ride but the colours are a shame in my opinion. And its missing a chunk of its spring… :dizzy:

Adjustable dropouts and it pivots around the BB????

It's like a Cove Hooker that you can run Single Speed.

I want one.

it looks like the new stinky's and goign for the low slung norco design

I've had Norco squish bikes for a few years, and Kona's have always had more
stand over IMO, up until this year Norco's have been pretty tall bikes.
Now Kona's are super low …. How do you not get seat rub or
some stuff?

I got the chance to rip a lap in Whistler on a 06 Stinky and WOW. It pedaled like a Stinky but the travel felt like a Stab Supreme. You still have to run the seat high enough to clear the linkage plates, but that is lower then in previous years.

My best description of the ride would be that it felt like a minature DH rig. DH suspension in a dirtjumper size.
