Kashima Shocks Make a Difference?

I switched from a 2011 non kash RC4 to a 2012 Kashima RC4 on the same bike. Both shocks were tuned for the bike and the same coil was used. I did notice a reduction in stiction. I didn't think the Kash would make much difference on a shock and I was surprised when it did. I even went back to the non Kashima shock for a day to compare.

Is it worth the extra expense? That's like asking if Titanium bolts are worth it for weight reduction.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to try and fix my shock myself and if all else fails my bike might get some Kashima bling.

Yes, yes they are! On top of that they don't rust and they're plenty strong for most applications if the threads are rolled.
