juicy 7 pad change

Hey im having problems changing my pads on my brakes, getting them out was a faff, the pads wouldnt come out easily and now the new pads arent going in any ideas?

They seem to be catching on the piston(?) bit where the brake pushes the pad

The replacement pads seem to have a little more thickness than the OEM ones too, so sometimes that can make life a litte trickier.

Maybe that's cause the replacement ones are new and the old ones are worn, hence the thickness difference.

some of the el-cheapo Hayes pads are waaaayyy thicker than the oem ones, one set I could barely get in, but the rotor rubbed like crazy, I think I ended up using one old and one new pad for a while.

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!

tried the spread and its not working, when i get one side in the other comes out!

I'm not sure if it applies with juicy's but you can open your bleed nipple and squeeze your lever and let our a touch of oil just make sure you tighten the bleed nipple back up before releasing the lever.

Have you had the brakes bled before? You may have too much brake fluid for the new pads.

thats what i had to do with mine last time i replaced the pads. worked like a charm :D
