The thing about the internet is that believing that you're right isn't enough, you have to explain your position in a solid manner with good responses if you want to sway opinions. If you don't you just become part the chorus of flame-throwing whiners who bitch about how everyone but themselves is just ignorant.

Tobius, you made a point, it was countered, and after a couple of seemingly well informed volleys (in spite of your initial shot of calling someone ignorant right off the bat) you went off about how people were bashing you and "If you can throw it out there you should harden the #$[HTML_REMOVED]#37;^ up a bit and let someone respond to your comments."
Nobody mentioned any hatred for local companies before you did. There was no name calling until you started calling people ignorant, and there was a good discourse until you started whining that people weren't listening to what you had to say when in reality people were just asking you to back it up.
Let's get back to the real issue, and that's how this new frame must be a hoax because Cove went out of business sometime in 2006, according to their website.

You guys also just seem to like to take shots at companies as though you are doing a much better job in your life. That being said, Couch Surfer started the whole thing by saying it would be sooooooo unlike Cove to infringe on someone else's design. I just commented on the lack of accuracy to that statement. I'm sorry you all feel so much hatred towards a local company.

In addition to that, you seem to know a lot about the inner workings of Cove. It is plain to see that you do have an affiliation of some sort with Cove. You can hardly blame me for being curious. The fact is that a blatant copy of a bike with very distinctive design characteristics was created with COVE PROTOTYPE stickers on it. You are asking us to take it on your word that Cove had very little to do with it. Can you see why we are somewhat skeptical??
